Cats Unloved News

The new shop is in Brighton, Christchurch, New Zealand. It replaces the shop which was demolished in Sydenham, after the earthquake.

I heard a story today, about at least 20 cats, which need new homes. They live on or near a state housing property. The owner is a builder but cant keep the 20 cats. Some of them are wild. Some are mothers with kittens. They are breeding and are not de-sexed. They are not being fed enough food.

These cats are typical of the colonies in Christchurch. What do you do? Well you could donate to Cats Unloved. You can find the web site to donate, by searching Cats Unloved.

Wild cats need to be trapped, tamed and found new homes. The job isnt easy. More volunteers are needed too. I was working one day a week at the Sydenham shop, before the earthquake.
