FROM QUAKE TO HOPE

It’s a nice sunny day here in Christchurch. My cats are asleep. Plenty of fresh air.

I have been reading books about market research and Blogging. Im trying to create an at home business from scratch. Im doing surveys and reviews. Points are cents, are coins to save.

Create a vision for the future. The idea is to create events and circumstances from within. Not to try and predict things. A good book I read lately is called As a man thinketh by James Allen. It explains how our thoughts create what happens to us. How we are in control of our own future. Like young people are not silly and are very creative about their lives. I think predicting things is off track.

I am a Mormon. Positive thinking does not involve predictions. It involves controlling your own thoughts and future. The same is true in market research or any other research. Family history research or Journalism research.

I use a “Card Index Database” to process my thoughts ideas and facts into Blogs and articles. Each card represents one paragraph and you can sort them by any keyword you choose. Choice is the key to market research. People like to make their own choices. God gave us agency, the freedom to choose between good and bad.

I trained as a freelance journalist. So it may be surprising that im not a natural Blogger. Maybe I spend too much time doing research and not enough time writing. Now I am going to try and write.

As a Mormon or LDS, I try to be really honest in my surveys and reviews. I don’t like to say anything negative. If I cant say something positive I wont say anything at all.
Im being advised to save coins as part of my home storage and gardening program. As I clock up points or cents im getting closer to my goals.

Basically if I want feedback I have to give it. So I will be looking through other peoples Blogs and leaving comments.
